The new children’s toilet block and renovated school hall entrance, providing disabled access at Matua Primary were crafted by Partridge Construction.  The company was chosen for its strong reputation in the education sector and it’s good working relationship with the architect designing the project. The project was completed with a minimum of disruption to school routine and included:

• A purpose built toilet block built of masonry and glass blocks.
• Concrete block and plaster construction with a specialist floor.
• Special paint finish non-slip floor.
• Specialised plumbing to avoid water wastage and ensure children’s safety.
• Concrete ramps in the hall entrance for ease of access by people with disabilities.
• Recladding of the hall exterior.
• Curved cast in-situ concrete walls for aesthetics in the hall foyer.
