When New Zealand’s leading fertilizer manufacturer and distributor decided to centralise operations it needed a new office block.  This three story office block is built from materials specially chosen to withstand the harsh chemical and coastal environment and was built for a total budget of $5m. This impressive structure consists of:

• A solid three story building.
• The sub floor foundation is 600mm with a 100mm thick concrete reinforced slab.
• The upper two levels rest on suspended concrete slabs.
• Reinforced concrete masonry supports the ground level while upper levels consist of steel frame structure together with concrete masonry shear walls.
• Special attention was made to the exterior cladding to meet both acoustic and aesthetic requirements.
• The complex is fully fitted with modern technologies including a mechanical elevator, fire protection, security and communications.
