Partridge Construction is a great place to work.  It’s a close-knit team and many of the team have been with the company for over 5 years.  Team members who have completed ten years continuous service receive a luxury mystery weekend away and so far 4 Partridge staff members have enjoyed this gift.  Partridge Construction employs skilled, dedicated and experienced people in the following areas:

Partridge Construction Training Programme

Partridge Construction value it's staff and recognises the need to nurture people into careers in the building industry in order to foster sustained growth of our own company and the building industry. The company is proud of its role in apprentice training and builder registration:

Apprentice Training
People who want a building apprenticeship must work with Partridge for at least six months before being accepted into the apprenticeship scheme.  Once accepted into the scheme, Partridge offers an innovative support scheme, including:

  • Two hours every week in the Partridge office completing the written requirements of their training.
  • Assistance with their written work by company owner Peter, the Quantity Surveyors and qualified Foremen.
  • Ample support within the group. 
  • A review of all written work before it is sent to the BCITO for moderation and signing off.

The scheme has been operating for 4 years now and was profiled in the 2005 Issue 4 of the BCITO magazine. Partridge Construction now has 3 apprentices at various stages of their training.

Builders Registration
Partridge Construction is taking action to ensure its builders are ready to comply with the new Builders Registration requirements coming into force in 2011. All our foreman undertake training courses and receive help and support to enable them to complete the registration requirements, and any carpenters wishing to participate are also encouraged to complete the requirements.
